Exciting changes have been completed!!! We have converted to a digital format and RealD 3D!! Thank you to all our loyal patrons! We hope that you will enjoy this change in format as we grow and change along with the movie industry!
Playing this week are Nanny McPhee Returns, and The Other Guys.
Nanny McPhee Returns: A struggling mother receives some much-needed assistance tending to the family farm and raising a group of spirited children while her military husband is fighting overseas in this sequel to the whimsical 2005 fantasy comedy Nanny McPhee. Mrs. Isabel Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal) lives in a scenic valley with her two daughters and one son. They each understand the importance of working together as a family, and things are going remarkably smoothly for the rural quartet until a pair of spoiled cousins arrive for an extended stay, effectively turning the quaint little farm into a virtual zoo. As the situation quickly getting out of hand, Nannie McPhee (Emma Thompson) suddenly appears on her doorstep claiming that she can bring a much-needed sense of order to the out-of-control household. In time the mysterious helper does just that, using powerful magic to teach her young charges the importance of getting along, and gradually winning their trust in the process. But when the piglets escape from their sty, the contentious kids must work together to recover the family farm's most valued assets, or risk losing everything their father worked so hard to build before he went off to fight in the war. This film is rated rated PG for rude humor, some language and mild thematic elements.
The Other Guys: New York City Police Detectives Christopher Danson (Dwayne Johnson) and P. K. Highsmith (Samuel L. Jackson) are the toughest and most famous cops in the city with the best capture rate no matter what it takes to get their man, even if the city must pay $12 million in property damages to capture a small crook. However, in their ranks, there are two other detectives that are want-to-be heroes sitting in the wings. Detective Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg) just want their chance in the sun to make a big collar and get a medal too. They get their chance when a small case falls into their lap which ends up being a very big high-profile case instead. It's the opportunity they have been waiting for, but do they have what it takes to be the next police heroes? This film is rated PG-13 for crude and sexual content, language, violence and some drug material.
The following are our show times for the upcoming week. Since we do not pre-sell admission tickets earlier in the day for that evenings shows, it is important to arrive early to have a chance to purchase tickets for your show. The ticket office will start selling tickets approximately 45 minutes prior to a set of shows. For example, for the shows that start 6:00pm to 7:30 on the weekends, the ticket office starts selling tickets for both of these shows at approximately 5:15pm. We anticipate lines to purchase tickets to form around one hour prior to the shows start time, however this could start occurring even earlier. Keep in mind, once you purchase a ticket, that guarantees you a seat, but if you have a group that would like to sit together, you need to proceed into the theater once it opens (approximately 30 - 45 minutes prior to the scheduled show time).
